Elementary. For Teenagers. Double Take is a three-level supplementary skills series written especially for teenage learners. At each level, the four major language skills are studied in two books: Reading and Writing and Listening and Speaking. Each unit of Reading and Writing requires students to read and understand a text before producing their own written work. Double Take: • develops confidence and fluency in the four major language skills • provides clear, systematic development of sub-skills such as reading for detail, listening for gist and using context to guess meaning • contains topics that will interest and motivate teenage learners • is carefully graded at three levels from beginner upwards • can be used with all main coursebooks At each level there is a detailed Teacher´s Book covering both Reading and Writing and Listening and Speaking which contains a full introduction, thorough lesson notes, answer keys and tapescripts.
