Resumen
Shiv Murthy, a middle-aged New Delhi professor whose wife is away, agrees to take in and care for the daughter of a friend, a student at the university who has broken her leg. At the same time, he is in trouble with the school because an article he has written about the caste system in India has offended certain people--and made the newspapers. Asked to issue an apology, Shiv is persuaded not to by young Meena, a feisty feminist, and finds himself in the midst of a midlife crisis that includes the temptation of an affair.<
