Resumen
The life of a man named Jozef Pronek is recounted in this novel by a Bosnian-American writer. Proneks life is traced from its beginnings to a time in the late 20th century when he is being interviewed for a job in Chicago as an ESL teacher. In between, he becomes increasingly alienated--"a real nowhere man"--in spite of a happy marriage and an eventful life.<
